During the holidays the SRS staff spend the day together learning about being strong, calm and focused.
We learn't how to stand strong so other people can lean on us, we can support others without loosing our balance....and so people can't push us over.
We developed strategies to be centered & strong in a push-pull situation....
We can focus on what WE are doing, feeling how WE choose react in situations that may upset us.
We discussed how this type of learning can contribute to the SRS social curriculum.
Through-out this term the Team Leaders will be leading a review on the SRS behavioural management plan and our social curriculum.
